    Questions parents ask us

Real topics from families we coach — answered inside the bot.

Brown noise or lullaby at bedtime?

Both can work. We help you pick a consistent wind-down: dim room, white/brown noise, and a short predictable routine — not endless rocking to sleep.

Should the room be pitch black?

Dark helps melatonin. For older babies a tiny night-light is fine if you need visibility for feeds — we tune this to age and your goal.

Night feed after 1 AM — keep or drop?

Depends on age, weight trend, and your pediatrician. The bot tracks patterns and suggests gradual changes — never cold-turkey without a plan.

Baby wakes every sleep cycle — wait 10 minutes?

Often yes: a partial arousal between cycles sounds like a full wake-up. We coach when to pause, when to intervene, and how to stretch naps.

    Feed before or after bath?

For many families: feed → bath → book → bed avoids a feed-to-sleep association at bedtime. Your plan adapts if you're still cluster-feeding.

    Can both parents use it?

Yes — add @SleepyStarBot to your family Telegram group. Everyone sees the same schedule and can log wake times.
